  3.   Enhancements on SHAREWARE Edition
  4.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  6. The Shareware Edition of FLM2 gives you all of the features required
  7. to maintain a powerfull filebase for yourself and your users. However
  8. when the time comes for you to register, it's much better if you decide
  9. to go for the Pro Edition.  Continued advancements are made in the Pro
  10. Edition, and you will benefit on a continual basis with the features in it.
  11.  
  12. The Shareware Edition is limited to a filebase of 32,000 files.  With the
  13. Pro Edition, we will enhance this by providing facilities to have upto
  14. 250 banks of 32,000 files.  Each bank designed to be unique.  ie Bank 2
  15. say being a specific CD-ROM disk.  when time comes to remove the disk, you
  16. can either mark the bank as deleted or offline, and then create a new
  17. Bank, say #3 for a new disk.
  18.  
  19. What follows some examples of the screens and enhancements.
  20.  
  21. 1) Each copy is serialised with your own Registered Name appearing in all
  22.    reports and on screen.
  23.  
  24. 2) Each list can have Sub-Headings, and you are able to jump to any part
  25.    of the list quickly and easily.  an example screen:

  57.    are inside the archive, and read the doc files quickly or run the files
  58.    and example.

  75.  The files inside the archive are automatically classified into groups and
  76.  displayed in an order which always means that docs/textfiles are listed
  77.  at the top of the list. Each group is displyed in a different colour, so
  78.  it's easy to distinguish.  ie in the above,  the .DOC and Read.me file
  79.  are listed first.  ready for you to extract and quickly read.  Thee archive
  80.  system being inbuilt, means that it is very quick, instantly appears on the
  81.  screen at the press of 1 Key.

  102.    and are able to quickly see, through the aid of colours being used, the
  103.    differences between them.   The above example shows thast the file in
  104.    the Left Window is an older version, but that all files required are
  105.    complete in the new one.

  108. 5) There is a very powerfull and unique file DUPE checking system. The system
  109.    can quickly find dupe files even if the file names are different. You'll
  110.    be surprised how many duplicated files your filebase will contain. Use it
  111.    and you'll save yourself Megabytes in disk space.

  114. 6) There is an enhanced Storage Manager where you can see quickly all the
  115.    Storage areas you have and providing tools to keep and maintain files
  116.    where you want,  without any need to worry what the user is seeing.

  195.    to.  Very usefull to direct Atari, Amiga, PC Files to different directories.
