  4. {C2This command allows you to turn certain RBBS-PC settings on and off.
  5. The options in TOGGLE are:

  23. {C3TIPS:
  24. {C4A)NSIEditor:  If your terminal program can support ANSI cursor commands,
  25.     then you can select this option to ALWAYS use the ANSIEditor when
  26.     entering a message.  Otherwise, you will be asked if you want to use
  27.     the ANSIEditor every time you enter a message
  28.  
  29. B)ulletin:  If this option is OFF, RBBS-PC will always display the bulletin
  30.     menu when you log on.  If you turn this option ON, RBBS-PC will only
  31.     display the bulletin menu if there are NEW bulletins to read.  The
  32.     sysop can disable this option, in which case you will always see the
  33.     bulletin menu when you log on.

  35. C)ase change:  Most computers can display both upper and lower case
  36.     letters, but some computers only display upper case.  The "C" command
  37.     alternates between "UPPER CASE ONLY" and "UPPER CASE and lower case."
  38.  
  39. E)xtended:  This option controls the display on extended file descriptions
  40.     while listing files for download.  When it is OFF, you will only be
  41.     shown the file name, size, date, and a short description.  When it is
  42.     ON, you will also be shown (if any) an extended description of the
  43.     file.

  45. F)ile:  RBBS-PC will give you the option to review files added to the
  46.     RBBS-PC downloads since your last logon as soon as you call the system.
  47.     If you want to wait until you go to the FILE menu to review files for
  48.     downloading, turn this option off.  The SYSOP can disable this option.
  49.     This option makes it fast and easy to check for new download files on
  50.     RBBS-PC.
  51.  
  52. H)ilight:  If your system can support ANSI color commands, you can specify
  53.     text colors for RBBS-PC prompts.  When you turn HILIGHT on, RBBS-PC will
  54.     ask you for your preferred color and intensity, and then show you what
  55.     the prompt will look like in your selected color.  When your selection
  56.     is correct, press [ENTER] to save the change.

  58. I)interNode Chat Availability:  If you want to always be available for
  59.     internode chats from other callers on line then turn this option on.
  60.     If you would rather not be disturbed, then turn it off.
  61.  
  62. K)Erase More Prompt:  If you want to have all More Prompts erased, then
  63.     toggle this option on.  If you don't want the More Prompt ereased and
  64.     would rather have the BBS start with a new line after the More Prompt,
  65.     then toggle this option off.

  67. M)ail Check:  Some BBS's may not let you know when there are new messages.
  68.     If this is the case with the BBS you are on now, then by toggling this
  69.     option on, you will be asked to read all new mail when there is new
  70.     mail to read.  If your sysop has set the BBS to ask you if you want
  71.     to read all new mail, then turning this option OFF will have NO effect!

  73. N)ulls:  Nulls put a delay at the beginning of each line that RBBS-PC sends
  74.     to your system.  Entering "N" will toggle or alternate nulls on and
  75.     off, as you choose.  Only systems that need time to move back to the
  76.     start of a line should set NULLS on (such as teletypes).

  78. S)ANSI Music:  If your modem program can support ANSI Music, then turning
  79.     this option on will make the BBS send you ANSI Music for prompt bells
  80.     instead of plain old beeps.
  81.  
  82. T)urbokeys:  RBBS-PC can act on one-character input without requiring an
  83.     [ENTER] key.  With Turbokey ON, whenever RBBS-PC only expects one
  84.     character, instead of using a "?" to prompt you, a "!" will appear
  85.     instead.  When you press one key, RBBS-PC will act on it immediately.
  86.     If you want to enter more than one key at a turbokey prompt, type a
  87.     slash "/" key, and RBBS-PC will allow you to enter an entire line.

  89. X)pert:  RBBS-PC operates in two modes.  Novices get verbose menus, more
  90.     detailed explanations, and extra warnings.  Experts get just the
  91.     command prompts without menus.  The novice mode makes it easier to learn
  92.     how to use RBBS-PC.

  94. !)Prompt bell:  An auditory reminder (beep) to tell you when the computer
  95.     is awaiting your input.  Some find it useful, but if you do not want to
  96.     hear the noise, use this option to turn it off.{C0
