- In order to help the SysOps to erase old news automatically, the Purge Method
- is now done!
- Now one line after the "/***/" you can put as an optional option the following
- parameter:
-
- Purge=mm/dd/yyyy
-
- For example:
-
- Purge=01/01/1995 -> January 1st, 1995
- Purge=02/01/1995 -> February 1st, 1995
- Purge=03/03/1995 -> March 3rd, 1995
- Purge=11/25/1995 -> November 25th, 1995
-
- It's too simple! Now pay attention in the next example:
-
- ----(Begin of NEWS.TXT)----
- Purge=01/02/1995
- Marry Christmas and happy new year|December 25th
- I wish to all of you "Marry Christmas and
- Happy new year!"
- /***/
- Purge=07/16/1995
- Happy birthday|July 15th
- Happy birthday to Daniel Lafraia!
- Today is his birthday! :-)
