- With version 3.0 you can now specify where you want the ADOPT.DNR file
- placed. Line 9 of the CFG file holds this information. All doors that
- utilize ADOPT.EXE will write to this same file, to make it easier for
- the sysop to keep up with all the different doors. Be sure to add the
- extra line in the CFG files for ADOPT since another line has
- been added to the file, if not this will create an error and ADOPT will
- abort.
-
- The proper format to enter the path is "C:\WILDCAT". You must place a
- "\" at the end of the path. Do not , however; enter a filename in this
- area. ADOPT.EXE will create a file named ADOPT.DNR in the directory
- that you specify.
-
- Below is the actual layout of the CFG file
-
-
- C:\WILDCAT\CALLINFO.BBS <-Path to user file
- The Parole Board BBS <-BBS Name
- Dennis <-SysOp First Name
- Maidon <-SysOp Last Name
- Jim Smith <-Donor Name or Blank
- Trade Wars! <-Name of Door ADOPT.EXE is advertising
- YES <-Create a DNR File for this door or (NO)
- 12345 <-Registration Number or 00000
- C:\WILDCAT\ <-Path and directory to place ADOPT.DNR
- YES <- YES = ADOPT Screen NO = Regular Screen
- N <- Turn off prompt line
-
- All eleven lines must be present. They may be left blank but they must be
- in the CFG file else an error will cause the door to abort.
