- How To Register ACID v1.00
- --------------------------
-
- There are two types of registrations for ACID: Non-commercial, and
- Commercial. The differences between the two types are as follows:
-
- Non-commercial registrations are for systems that are not located on
- commercial, educational, or government property, and are not run for a profit.
-
- Commercial registrations are for systems run on commercial, educational, or
- government property, or for systems that are run to make a profit.
-
- NOTE: The author reserves the right to verify systems to ensure they are
- ordering the right type of registration, and to deny registration if the proper
- registration is not ordered!
-
- When you register, you will be sent a key. This works similar to a
- password. Your key will "unlock" ACID and tell it to run in registered mode.
- Registration covers both the DOS and OS/2 versions of ACID. The key you will
- receive works with both versions.
-
- To register, simply fill out _ALL_ of the information in REGISTER.FRM,
- print it out, and mail it to the address given on the form. In a few weeks,
- you will receive your key via the selected delivery method, along with
- instructions for how to install it into ACID.
