Transcription: The lunar module built by Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, New York was the first true spacecraft. It could make this claim because it was the only vehicle designed solely for operation in space. The astronauts gave this vehicle the call sign of Aquarius, named after the Egyptian god who brought water from the Nile. It was also the name of a popular song from the musical Hair. There were no seats inside the lunar module during the landing landing on the moon, the two astronauts stood at the controls and peered down at the lunar surface through two small triangular windows.
