  10. To install BEM on your machine:
  11.    1. Unzip the BEM zip(s) into a directory of your choice.  (Please
  12.       delete any alpha or beta versions first.)
  13.    2. Run INSTALL.CMD to set up the program objects you will need.
  14.    3. Double-click on the Config object to configure BEM for your hardware.
  15.    4. Try out the single-player mode by double-clicking on the Single-
  16.       Player object in the BEM folder.
  17.    5. Play BEM!!!

  19. To initiate a multi-player BEM game:
  20.    1. Decide which machine/player is going to be the Server.  The person
  21.       with the fastest machine is the best choice, followed by the person
  22.       with the greatest bandwidth.
  23.    2. Server player opens the Server folder and reads README.SVR.
  24.    3. Everyone else is a Client.  They open the Client folder and read
  25.       README.CLT.
