  3.       Thank you for trying the Screen Saver Six Pack(TM).
  4.       
  5.       To register, please send in the order form (see the file
  6.       ORDER.FRM included with the programs) or contact ARJANA at
  7.       the address below.
  8.       
  9.       If you register, you get the latest release with additional
  10.       configuration options and you get product support and upgrade
  11.       information. The unregistered version may prompt you to print
  12.       an order form. This prompt is absent from the registered version.
  13.       
  14.       For installation, simply run the SETUP.EXE program included
  15.       with the screen savers. To do this from the Windows
  16.       Program Manager, choose File then Run. Then type the drive and
  17.       path. For example, if the setup program is on a disk in floppy
  18.       drive A then type
  19.          A:\SETUP
  20.       Or if the you downloaded the files to C:\MYDIR\DOWNLOAD type
  21.          C:\MYDIR\DOWNLOAD\SETUP
  22.          
  23.       The setup program copies the files to your Windows program
  24.       directory then opens the Control Panel Desktop so you can
  25.       choose which screen saver to run.

  28.       LICENCE
  29.       
  30.       PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CONTRACTS **BEFORE** USING
  31.       THIS SOFTWARE. USE OF THE SOFTWARE SIGNIFIES THAT YOU
  32.       AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE PROVISIONS.

  34.       Contract for an unregistered user:

  36.       This licence permits you to evaluate the software. You are not
  37.       permitted to sell, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or modify it.
  38.       If you continue to run the program more than seven times, you must
  39.       purchase a registered licence. You may also make copies of the
  40.       unregistered version for others but only if you include the entire
  41.       archive of programs, program files and documentation all without
  42.       modification. If you are a shareware distributor you may not charge
  43.       for this software but only for distribution and you must make clear
  44.       to recipients that they may use the program only seven times before
  45.       paying for a registered copy.

  47.       All limitations and exclusions of liability in the following
  48.       contract for registered users apply to unregistered users.

  55.       This licence permits you to:

  57.         use the program on a single machine (CPU) intended for one user at
  58.         a time
  59.  
  60.         make backup copies not to be actively used but only as protection
  61.         from loss

  63.         transfer the software and this licence to another person if that
  64.         person agrees to comply with this licence. If you transfer the
  65.         program you transfer your right to use it and you must transfer
  66.         to the same person all backup copies or erase them.

  68.       This licence applies to use on a single machine. If you intend to
  69.       use the software on a network or more than one machine or by more
  70.       than one user at a time, you must purchase a separate licence for
  71.       each user. YOU MAY NOT USE, COPY, MODIFY OR TRANSFER THE PROGRAM
  72.       IN WHOLE OR IN PART EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THIS LICENCE.
  73.       IF YOU TRANSFER POSSESSION OF ANY COPY OR MODIFICATION EXCEPT AS
  74.       PROVIDED IN THIS LICENCE, YOUR LICENCE IS AUTOMATICALLY TERMINATED.

  77.       TERM
  78.       This licence is effective until terminated. You may terminate it
  79.       at any time by erasing the software and all copies. This licence
  80.       may also be terminated if you fail to comply with this agreement.

  82.       LIMITED WARRANTY
  83.       THIS PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,
  84.       EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE
  85.       IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
  86.       PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

  88.       In some places, under some circumstances, the law may not allow the
  89.       exclusion of implied warranties. If so, there is no promise that
  90.       this program will meet your needs, or that the operation of the
  91.       program will be error free.

  93.       IN NO EVENT WILL ARJANA BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING
  94.       ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
  95.       DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS SOFTWARE OR
  96.       FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY. FOR ALL CLAIMS THE LIMIT OF ARJANA'S
  97.       LIABILITY IS THE PRICE RECEIVED BY ARJANA FOR YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

  99.       GOVERNING LAW
  100.       This contract is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

  102.       RIGHTS
  103.       You purchase only the right to use the software. No copyright or other
  104.       property ownership transfers to you.

  106.       THIS IS THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT CONCERNING YOUR RIGHTS IN THIS SOFTWARE.
  107.       YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT AND
  108.       AGREE TO BE BOUND BY IT.
