  10. DateText is a Custom Class of the Magic User Interface © by Stefan Stuntz.
  11. It's a subclass of text-class and date-class.

  13. The idea of this class was born during developing my Gregor application.

  15. MUI public custom class displaying a text gadget for date strings. The
  16. display format of the date string can be freely defined.
  17.  
  18. DateText.mcc features that are of interest for users:
  19.  - Handles years from 8 to 8000
  20.  - Supports the Gregorian calendar reform
  21.  - Can be dragged around
  22.  - A week can begin with any weekday
  23.  - Supports various string formats
  24.  
  25. DateText.mcc features of interest for developers:
  26.  - Based on Date.mcc
  27.  - Supports MUIM_Import and MUIM_Export
  28.  - The date can be read as day/month/year format or as JD or MJD
  29.  - The date range can be restricted
  30.  - Method to set the current date
  31.  - Methods for increasing and decreasing the date
  32.  - Method to compare with another date object

  36. Now, before you go on, you should validate whether all files are unmodified,
  37. use the md5sum utility together with the checksums appended to this text.
