  1.                      Amiga IRC II text based IRC client
  2.                      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  3. This  version  of  IRC  II  has been modified, adapted and compiled with gcc
  4. 2.7.0 to work under Amiga by Generoso Martello, e-mail:  gene@byte.it.
  5. It has been compiled from "ircii-2.8.2.tgz" source archive for unix.

  7. To install it just copy the content of "bin/" in to your "AmiTCP:bin/".

  9. To  run  the  program  type AmiTCP:bin/IRC-II/bin/irc-2.8.2 from your shell.
  10. You may sim-link the irc-2.8.2 executable file to "AmiTCP:bin/irc".  In that
  11. case just type irc from your shell.

  13. This  archive  includes  IRC  II help files too so you can type /HELP to get
  14. on-line help.

  21. IRC-II   has  been  compiled  to  look  for  some  files  in  the  directory
  22. AmiTCP:bin/IRC-II, so you have to install it just in this directory.
