  6. DefIcon Version 1.52        O.S. 2.04 (V37) and above.

  8. DefIcon is a commodity based utility which allows you to create new icons
  9. for iconless files!
  10.  
  11. When DefIcon starts up it adds an AppMenuItem to the Workbench Tools Menu.
  12. Now in order to create an icon for a file you must open the drawer which
  13. contains the file and use Show All Files from Workbench. Select the files
  14. which you wish to give an icon and then select the Default Icon option
  15. from the Tools menu. The files *should* get new icons. If they didn't then
  16. see the amigaguide file under TroubleShooting.
