  12. The patch files are for use by REGISTERED owners of Ami-Back Tools ONLY.  This
  13. patch will bring Ami-Back Toos from v1.02 or v1.03 to v1.04.  These patches will 
  14. ONLY work on the English version of Ami-Back Tools.

  16. To use it do the following:
  17.  
  18.     1.  Extract the files in this archive (if you are reading this
  19.         you have already done this).
  20.         
  21.     2.  Make a copy of your original Ami-Back Tools disk.  DO NOT perform
  22.         this patch on your original disk.
  23.         
  24.     3.  Place the Ami-Back Tools disk (copy) in any floppy drive.
  25.     
  26.     4.  Make sure your current directory is the directory with 
  27.             the extracted files.
  28.     
  29.     5.  Enter the following command exactly as it appears or double 
  30.         click on the patch.script icon.
  31.     
  32.         execute patch.script
  33.         
  34.     6.  After completing the patches you MUST install using the normal
  35.         install procedure (see the you Users Manual.)
  36.

  41. Changes made in Ami-Back Tools 1.03
  42.  
  43.  - The optimzer has been changed so that you don't have to do a "Check Device"
  44.    before doing an "Optimize".  The Optimize gadget will do a "Check Deivice"
  45.    before optimizing if necessary.
  46.  
  47.  - The "User Defined" setting in palette prefs has been removed because
  48.    it was unnecessary and didn't work correctly.
  49.    
  50.  - Using the optimizer with cache is significantly faster than in previous
  51.    versions.
  52.    
  53.  - Floppy drives were not showing up in version 1.02 under WB 1.3.  They now do.
  54.  
  55.  - The optimizer can now optimize disks that have non-contigous bitmaps.
  56.  
  57.  - CheckDisk handles the "Bad_Blocks" file it creates for non-remappable bad
  58.    blocks better.

  60.  - The "Device Information" window now shows the correct volume date instead
  61.    of "Unknown".
  62.  
  63.  - Fixed the extra "Used" on the Antiseptic.  Now says "Free".

  65.  - A problem with the bad block remapping code has been fixed.

  69.  - Fixed a problem with ABTools sometimes crashing after optimizing without the 
  70.    cache disabled.
