- This archive contains patches to take Wordworth 3.1 Release 1 [UK edition
- only] to Release 2. These files do not work on the US edition released
- by Soft-Logik. DO NOT contact Soft-Logik about this patch.
-
- I am releasing this at the request of Digita, sadly there is no installer
- script (never could get the hang of lisp) but installation is relativiely easy:
-
- copy all the #?.pch files to the same place as the original files with the
- same name and spatch to C: or RAM:
-
- cd to a directory with a pch file and type:
-
- spatch <file>
-
- This will create a file <file>.new. Rename this to <file> by:
-
- rename <file>.new <file>
-
- MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR ORIGINAL DISKS IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG AND
- YOU NEED TO REINSTALL WORDWORTH.
-
- Example
- =======
-
- Unarchive WwProg.pch to the main wordworth diectory (Work:Wordworth for example)
-
- cd Work:Wordworth
- lha -a x RAM:ww3_1r2p.lha wwprog.pch
- spatch WwProg
- rename WwProg.new WwProg
-
- Repeat this for all file in the archive, you will now have Ww3.1 Release 2.
-
- Important
- =========
-
- If you cannot get these patch files to work for any reason, you can upgrade
- to R2 by returning your R1 disks to Digita (at the address in the manual)
- and they will mail you R2 by return of post.
-
