  1. Welcome to this release (105.2) of the IDE-fix package!

  3. This program updates version 104.x to 105.2.
  4.  
  5. If you don't have at least version 104.1, update to 104.1 first!

  8. Problems solved:

  10. IDEfix didn't work correctly with more than 2 Harddrives
  11. IDEfix now works perfectly with removeable drives (SyQuest)
  12. IDEfix had problems with drives larger than 800 MByte
  13.  
  14. Workaround for firmware bug in Creative Labs CD-Roms added
  15. to CacheCDFS.

  18. To update your copy of IDEfix, you must first make a backup
  19. copy of your original IDEfix disk.
  20.  
  21. Use the DiskCopy utility from the Workbench to do this.
  22.  
  23. DO NOT USE THE ORIGINAL!

  25. The copy must be named "IDEfix", otherwise the Update will
  26. not work.
  27.  
  28. Double-click the "Update" Icon and insert you copy of IDEfix
  29. in drive DF0. The disk will be updated to release 105.2.
