  2. Free Patch for Envoy 2.0
  3. ========================

  5. Even Envoy 2.0 can be improved. This freely redistributable patch
  6. fixes some problems in your Envoy 2.0 setup:
  7.  
  8.     - OpenFromLock() led to a crash because of a problem in
  9.       filesystem.service. The fix for this old bug of Envoy 1.x
  10.       unfortunately got lost again during development of Envoy 2.0.
  11.  
  12.     - envoy.library had bugs affecting the stability of the operating
  13.       system. This usually ocurred with OS 2.1 only but affects all
  14.       versions of the OS.
  15.  
  16.     - a2060.device had bugs in the packet filtering code.
  17.  
  18. Please give this patch to anyone who might need it. It is absolutely
  19. free of charge. You might have been charged shipping and handling
  20. costs, but not more.

  22. Note that this patch may not be modified. You may not sell it either.

  24. The Installation
  25. ================

  27. ... is really easy. Please have the backup copy of your original EnvoyDisk
  28. at hand and click on the english installation icon of this patch. The patch
  29. won't write to your backup copy. It will only modify an existing
  30. installation on floppy or harddisk. You need the backup copy to do this,
  31. though.
