  6. This patch introduces the following changes:

  8. The crash-on-exit bug in Version 12.16/12.17 has been eliminated. 
  9.  
  10. The fix-in-place routines have been enhanced. The result of this is
  11. that directories with problems are much more likely to be fixed,
  12. rather than eliminated. DiskSalv's ability to deal with various kinds
  13. of bad blocks linked into the active disk partition is also much
  14. improved.
  15.  
  16. New startup and stack extension code solves stack overrun problems
  17. completely. This may have some small effect on performance, but it
  18. should eliminate at least half of the problems folks have been having
  19. with DiskSalv.
  20.  
  21. A new command option, SKIPDEVS, has been added. This is used to keep
  22. DiskSalv from examining specific DOS devices.
