  1. CalComp DesignMate Pen Plotter
  2. The CalComp DesignMate is a low-priced pen plotter that produces hardcopy in
  3. up to eight colors and in sizes A through D.  It can plot at speeds of up to
  4. 20 inches per second (ips), with throughput enhanced by CalComp's Plot Manager
  5. firmware, which minimizes pen movement and pen changes.  Standard features
  6. include automatic cut-sheet sizing, a desktop media guide, and an enhanced
  7. ADI (Autodesk Device Interface) to accelerate the downloading of AutoCAD plots.
  8. DesignMate also includes features that make it exceptionally easy to use, such
  9. as a simple two-button control panel.  Optional accessories include a floor
  10. stand and a hinged cover to minimize dust and noise.  In addition, DesignMate
  11. operates more quietly than other pen plotters, thanks to light pen pressure

  35. The CalComp Pacesetter family consists of two cut-sheet plotters (Models 2024 
  36. and 2036) that accommodate plot sizes ranging from A to D and A to E, 
  37. respectively.  Each model can plot as fast as 42 ips for quick plots and 20
  38. ips in final mode, without sacrificing precision and accuracy.  Total 
  39. throughput is enhanced by Plot Manager firmware.  A proprietary active pen 
  40. carriage helps provide fast, accurate pen positioning, and a vector look-ahead 
  41. feature keeps the pen moving at high speed when a line changes direction less
  42. than 45 degrees.  Transparent ink reservoirs and a pen grouping function extend
  43. plotting time even further and reduce plotting errors caused by a pen point
  44. running dry.  Automatic pen capping ensures line quality and extends pen life.

  71. The CalComp Classic is a new high-performance dual-mode pen plotter that
  72. produces superior quality multi-color drawings on either cut-sheet and roll-feed
  73. media.  Classic can output cut-sheet media in widths ranging from A- to E-size.
  74. In roll-feed mode, it accommodates E-size media and (with an optional adapter)
  75. D-size in 120-foot rolls.  The plotter comes with an eight-pen turret that
  76. features automatic pen selection and capping.  For longer running times without
  77. pen replacement_even unattended overnight plotting_a pen grouping feature
  78. permits more than one pen to be used for a chosen color.  Plot finishing is
  79. also automated, thanks to a mechanism that performs handling functions in
  80. roll-feed mode.  Also standard are a nonvolatile setup memory for four users;

  104. The CalComp Model 67436 electrostatic plotter plots more than three times faster
  105. than the model it replaced, enjoys higher throughput, provides twice the number
  106. of fill patterns and eight times the number of line types, and has more than 
  107. four times the standard data storage.  The plotter delivers accurate wide-format
  108. (36-inch) monochrome drawings with a resolution of 400 dots per inch.  It
  109. accepts plot data directly from the host computer, thus reducing its processing
  110. burden and letting it attend to other tasks.  Standard plot memory is 50
  111. megabytes, with 140-, 410- and 760-megabyte disks available as options.  The
  112. 67436 comes standard with four input ports (two serial and two parallel) plus

  136. CalComp 68000 Series color electrostatic plotters cost less but plot more than
  137. three times faster than the models they replaced and also enjoy higher 
  138. throughput, provide eight times the number of colors and line types, and have 
  139. more than four times the standard data storage.  The 68000 Series plotters 
  140. deliver accurate wide-format color plots at a 400-dots-per-inch resolution.  
  141. The standard 68000 Series consists of Models 68436 and the 68444, which 
  142. accommodate media widths of 36 and 44 inches, respectively.  An automatic media
  143. cutter (standard) separates the finished plot from the media roll, and an

  171. The CalComp DrawingMaster Plus is a high-performance, user-installable plotter
  172. that employs direct imaging technology to produce one- or two-color drawings 
  173. with a 200-dots-per-inch resolution on roll-feed media 24 or 36 inches wide 
  174. (Models 52224 and 52236, respectively).  CalComp's proprietary Quikplot mode 
  175. (standard), lets the user nearly double plotting speed, while limiting 
  176. resolution in the media travel axis only_resulting in minimal loss of image 
  177. quality.  Conversely, CalComp's proprietary Qualplot mode (also standard) 
  178. allows the user to double the resolution in the media travel axis while 
  179. plotting at reduced speed.  Both models come standard with four multiplexed

  206. The new CalComp DrawingMaster Professional Series is a family of high-
  207. performance plotters that use direct imaging technology to produce superior-
  208. quality one- or two-color drawings with a normal resolution of 406 x 406 dots 
  209. per inch.  Available in 24- and 36-inch models (52424 and 52436, respectively)

  241. The CalComp ColorMaster Plus is a PostScript language-compatible printer that 
  242. employs thermal transfer technology to output rich, color-saturated images (on 
  243. paper or transparency film) at a resolution of 300 dots per inch.  The printer
  244. can produce 16.4 million colors.  The ColorMaster Plus is available in both A-
  245. and B-size versions: Models 6603PS and 6613PS, respectively.  The 6613PS also
  246. accommodates A-size and oversize media and can print full bleed on an area of

  272. The CalComp CCL 600 is a high-performance laser printer that produces crisp, 
  273. sharp images on tabloid- and letter-size plain-paper hardcopy at a true engine 
  274. resolution of 600 x 600 dots per inch.  Its versatility makes it ideal for a 
  275. variety of CAD, publishing, graphic arts and general office applications.  It 
  276. is PostScript-language and HP-GL/2 compatible and is downward switchable to 
  277. 300 x 300 dpi resolution.  The CCL 600 prints multiple copies of A-size pages
