  56. EF Commander is a powerful file-management utility that combines the 
  57. best features of Explorer and File Manager. You can use its two file 
  58. panes together or independently, displaying only the file properties 
  59. that you wish to view. EF Commander has all of the functionality of 
  60. Explorer, including launching and viewing of files, context menus, and 
  61. drag-and-drop support. From File Manager, it borrows a powerful menu 
  62. and highly configurable toolbar that lets you format, copy, search, 
  63. create new folders, and much more. EF Commander brings some of its 
  64. own tools to the table as well. You can use it to perform folder 
  65. comparisons, split and join files, and swap the two panels as you see 
  66. fit. It also shells to your favorite compression program and includes 
  67. a built-in Hex editor. Other features include multilingual support, 
  68. custom menus, and a feature that automatically strips the read-only 
  69. attribute from files copied from CD-ROM. If you've longed for the power 
  70. of both Explorer and File Manager in a single package, give EF Commander
