  1. T-Ref is a complete and comprehensive source and cross reference lister for
  2. Turbo Pascal programs and units.  Because of the size of the package, I
  3. suggest that you print out the documentation file.  It will come in quite
  4. handy in running T-Ref.  I would at least suggest you scan through the
  5. documentation before attempting to run T-Ref.  See Chapter 6 for setting up
  6. T-Ref.

  8. You will need to run the program INITDB before running T-REF.  This program
  9. creates the database file needed by T-Ref to save and retrieve the option
  10. settings for the scanner.

  12. Borland recently released their 5.5 version.  I plan to modify T-Ref and mail
  13. out a shareware version to support it within the next month.  If you are using
  14. TP 5.5 and want to know of the status of T-Ref 5.5, write me and I will let
  15. you know.  Registered users will automatically receive the 5.5 update FREE
  16. when it is completed!

  18. I have spent an untold number of hours on this project over the past two and
  19. one-half years.  I would estimate my total time to be about 2500 hours
  20. spent in some way, form, or fashion getting T-Ref to this point.  I have
  21. enjoyed most of that time (who REALLY likes debugging programs!), but expect
  22. compensation for it.  Put yourself in my shoes; I am sure you will agree.

  24. You are given 60 days to examine T-Ref before you are expected to register for
  25. the package.  COMPANIES AND CORPORATIONS MUST REGISTER AT THE END OF THE 60
  26. DAYS, OR CEASE USE OF THE PACKAGE.  Individuals are "highly encouraged" to
  27. register.  I am leaving this up to your conscience to do what you must.

  29. This is a shareware program.  It is NOT FREE.  Do not confuse the purchase of
  30. this package from a distribution house from your obligation to register if
  31. you decide to continue using the package.  Keep the cost of shareware down
  32. by registering for your shareware software!  We often do not regret what we
  33. have until we lose it.  Supporting shareware and its authors is supporting
  34. capitalism to the ultimate degree!

  36. If you are a shareware distribution center and did not receive this copy
  37. directly from me, you MUST complete the top of the registration form and mail
  38. it to me.  This is so I know who is distributing the package and can thus
  39. provide you with the latest copies of the shareware version.

  42. of the document.  It highlights most of the differences.
