- Introduction:
- Just what is an Associate Programmer? An Associate Programmer is
- an individual that has contributed utilities to the QBUTIL
- utility set. This contribution enables the Associate Programmer
- to receive certain privileges.
-
- Contributed Routines:

- Contributed Routines:
- A programmer may contribute any utility routine that he/she has
- developed to Traveller Software and Associates for use in the
- QBUTIL utility set. Also, a programmer may contribute upgrades
- to existing QBUTIL routines. Traveller Software will review all
- contributions and upgrades for usefulness in QBUTIL. If a
- routine or upgrade is found useful it will be added to QBUTIL,
- the programmer's name is displayed in the source code and in the
- QBUTIL documentation. At this time the programmer is considered
- an Associate Programmer.

-
- Why?
- Why?
- Why?
- The idea for Associate Programmers came to me one night as I was
- working on the utility set. It seemed that outside inputs from
- users of QBUTIL would give it the possibility of becoming a very
- large, user developed, package. We all see the books and other
- software packages that are designed to provide additional
- commands to the QuickBASIC programming language and we all know
- how much they cost. It is my dream that QBUTIL will develop into
- a low cost alternative to these other high priced packages. It
- is my hope that other programmers, from beginner to advanced,
- will also become a part of this dream.
-
- When I say low cost, I mean low cost. Users may now register for
- $10.00 and receive updates for $5.00. I decided to quit trying
- to make money out of this in hopes that my dream might be
- realized. Users who have registered for $25.00 will receive
- three free upgrades (starting with this release).
-
- If you are an interested programmer I would love to hear from
- you.
