CR.01.01 Tim I can't wait to enter our terrarium in the science fair. Before this project I didn't even know what a terrarium was!

CR.02.02 D. A. My sources tell me that it uses two long legs for rowing and two long ones for steering through the water.
CR.02.03 Tim And that leaves two short front legs to hold its prey.
CR.02.04 Tim "So, who do you think can stay underwater longer, a diving beetle or a human?"

CR.02.06 Tim You're so right - the beetle can stay under water for 48 hours using the same air bubble.
CR.02.07 Tim Picture this - near some rivers so many mayflies hatch and die that they have to be shoveled off the roads like piles of snow.

CR.03.01 D. A. "According to my research, spiders are not insects because real insects have only six legs and spiders have eight."

CR.03.05 D. A. "I find it fascinating how some bugs take a bubble of air down with them, so they can breathe underwater in a pond or stream."

CR.04.01 D. A. "The pond in our terrarium is a perfect home for these water bugs. But according to my records Tim, we should have five bugs in here and there are only four. I can't imagine what's happened."

CR.05.04 Arnold I just found out that there are more bugs in the world than any other animal. It makes me nervous. They seriously outnumber us and some of them are so organized.
