  1. If a new hardware component is found at the Windows start-
  2. up, please refer to the Quick installation guide for more
  3. information.

  5. To install the drivers and tools for the
  6. miroMEDIA Surround under Windows 95 at a later time,
  7. proceed as follows.
  8.  
  9. 1. In the Control Panel select the Hardware option.
  10. 2. Do not let Windows 95 search for new hardware.
  11.    Click No at this question and proceed to the next
  12.    dialog box.
  13. 3. Select "Audio, video and game" controller and click
  14.    "Next".
  15. 4. In the following dialog box, click "Disk".
  16. 5. Insert the CD-ROM from the miroMEDIA Surround
  17.     board package contents.
  18. 6. Click "Browse.." .
  19. 7. Switch to the CD-ROM drive to the \DISKSETS\WIN95
  20.    directory. When the MIROSRND.INF file appears, click
  21.    OK.
  22. 8. Click again OK.
  23.    The miroMEDIA Surround driver will be copied to the
  24.    hard disk. After the files have been copied you have to
  25.    restart the system.
  26. 9. Restart your computer.
  27. After the restart you can install the detailed online
  28. documentation and the program you can use to read the
  29. documenation (Acrobat Reader) on your computer.
