  12. This is disk number one of the 2 disk set for
  13. this book. It contains: 
  14.  
  15. * Graphic Workshop for Windows
  16. * MORPH demo program
  17. * TIF graphics files
  18.  
  19.  
  20. NOTE:
  21. Many of the files contained on these disks are stored 
  22. in a compressed format. You must run the installation 
  23. program to install them to your hard drive.

  27. Installation procedure
  28. ----------------------------------------------

  30. To install both of the disks, follow this procedure:
  31.  
  32. 1. Insert Disk 1 in your floppy drive. From Windows File 
  33.    Manager or Program Manager, choose File + Run from the 
  34.    menu.
  35.  
  36. 2. Type <drive>INSTALL and press Enter. 
  37.         <drive> is the letter of the drive that contains the 
  38.    installation disk. For example, if the disk in drive B:, 
  39.    type B:INSTALL and press Enter.
  40.  
  41. 3. The install program will present you with the choice of a
  42.    Full Install or Custom Install (where you choose which
  43.    components to install). Choose Full Install.
  44.  
  45. 4. When the installation of the first disk is complete, the
  46.    program will prompt you to insert Disk 2.
  47.  
  48. Follow the on-screen instructions in the installation program. 
  49. It will notify you when the installation is complete. The files 
  50. will be automatically installed to a directory named \MIP, 
  51. unless you choose to change this name during the install 
  52. program.

  54. * The Morphing demonstration is located in the MORPH 
  55.   subdirectory.
  56.  
  57. * Graphic Workshop for Windows is located in the GWS
  58.   subdirectory.

  60.   NOTE: 
  61.   Before you can use Graphic Workshop for Windows,
  62.   you must first run its setup program. From within 
  63.   Windows, run the SETUP.EXE program located in the
  64.   directory \MIPS\GWS.
