  9. The software that is included with this
  10. book includes:

  12. * Graphic Workshop for Windows
  13.   A Windows-based program for viewing, 
  14.   converting, printing and adding special
  15.   effects to graphics files.
  16.   
  17. * MORPH 
  18.   A Windows-based morphing demonstration 
  19.   program. 
  20.  
  21. * TIFF graphics files (*.TIF)
  22.   These files are primarily intended to be
  23.   used with the MORPH morphing software.
  24.  
  25. * JPEG graphics files (*.JPG)
  26.   These files are primarily intended to be 
  27.   used with the Aldus PhotoStyler demo program,
  28.   which you can order with the tear-out card
  29.   in the back of the book.

  33. INSTALLING GRAPHIC WORKSHOP FOR WINDOWS:
  34. ----------------------------------------------
  35. After installing the 2 disks, you need to run 
  36. the installation program for Graphic Workshop
  37. for Windows.
  38.  
  39.     1. From File Manager or Program Manager,
  40.        select File + Run from the menu.
  41.  
  42.     2. Type 
  43.        C:\MIP\GWS\SETUP.EXE
  44.        and press Enter.  
  45.        (If you installed to a drive other 
  46.        than C:, or if you changed the install 
  47.        directory during the installation, 
  48.        you'll need to modify this command.)
  49.  
  50.     3. The Setup program will ask you what
  51.        directory to install Graphic Workshop
  52.        to. The default directory is C:\GWSWIN.
  53.        If this is satisfactory, select OK.
  54.  
  55.     4. The files will be installed in this 
  56.        directory, and a Program Manager group
  57.        will be created. You can now run Graphic
  58.        Workshop from Program Manager.

  63. NOTES:

  65. The graphics for the Morphing Demo and Graphic
  66. Workshop for Windows are in the main "Magic of
  67. Image Processing" directory. Unless you changed
  68. this directory during the installation, the files
  69. will be in \MIP.

  71. These TIFF (*.TIF) and JPEG (*.JPG) files can be 
  72. converted to other formats (such as PCX, BMP, 
  73. etc.) with the Graphic Workshop for Windows 
  74. program.
