- The software that is included with this
- book includes:

- * Graphic Workshop for Windows
- A Windows-based program for viewing,
- converting, printing and adding special
- effects to graphics files.

- * MORPH
- A Windows-based morphing demonstration
- program.

- * TIFF graphics files (*.TIF)
- These files are primarily intended to be
- used with the MORPH morphing software.

- * JPEG graphics files (*.JPG)
- These files are primarily intended to be
- used with the Aldus PhotoStyler demo program,
- which you can order with the tear-out card
- in the back of the book.

- INSTALLING GRAPHIC WORKSHOP FOR WINDOWS:
- ----------------------------------------------
- After installing the 2 disks, you need to run
- the installation program for Graphic Workshop
- for Windows.

- 1. From File Manager or Program Manager,
- select File + Run from the menu.
-
- 2. Type
- C:\MIP\GWS\SETUP.EXE
- and press Enter.
- (If you installed to a drive other
- than C:, or if you changed the install
- directory during the installation,
- you'll need to modify this command.)
-
- 3. The Setup program will ask you what
- directory to install Graphic Workshop
- to. The default directory is C:\GWSWIN.
- If this is satisfactory, select OK.

- 4. The files will be installed in this
- directory, and a Program Manager group
- will be created. You can now run Graphic
- Workshop from Program Manager.

- NOTES:
- ----------------------------------------------
- The graphics for the Morphing Demo and Graphic
- Workshop for Windows are in the main "Magic of
- Image Processing" directory. Unless you changed
- this directory during the installation, the files
- will be in \MIP.

- These TIFF (*.TIF) and JPEG (*.JPG) files can be
- converted to other formats (such as PCX, BMP,
- etc.) with the Graphic Workshop for Windows
- program.
