  1. You can use this program to compact your StarTeam or Versions project databases and reclaim disk space.
  2. Corrupted StarTeam or Versions project databases can be repaired using Repair located on the Project menu.
  3. StarBase Technical Support may ask you to use Validate against your StarTeam or Versions project to verify the project's internal relationships.
  4. View a StarTeam or Versions project's maintenance history by selecting View Log from the Project menu.
  5. StarTeam and Versions projects are stored in the Microsoft Access database format.
  6. DAO is an acronym for Data Access Objects.
  7. A project's DAO version is the internal database engine format of your StarTeam or Versions project.  This information may be helpful information to StarBase Technical Support.
  8. A project's Format is an internal number used by StarBase Technical Support.
