Reminiscent of dancing Northern Lights, this animation functions much like a color organ. Beautiful bands of color light up to the different frequencies in the music. Bass notes produce fuzzy blobs in the center, while higher notes result in bright rings with correspondingly larger diameters.
Some may remember this - it's a VU meter like what you would find on an old power amp. To capture the look-and-feel of the real thing, it uses a physically-based model of a coil-spring mechanism.
Like the Dancer, each of these creature animations keep time to the rhythm of the music. Pictured here is 'Fireflies', a group of lightning bugs that do a sort of synchronized aerial dance.
This second volume of computer-generated art features a whole new set of fractal images that shimmer and glow to the music. Includes Butterfly, Core, Horizon, Lightning, Mandelbrot, Seal, Spine, and Stage Lights.
Like a laser-light show, this animation throws out an ever-changing beam of light that is directly controlled by the music. You may never see the same pattern twice, as it instantaneously reacts to every thump and wail that it hears.
This 'musical Las Vegas' uses the power of your music to electrify an array of neon tubes. As the volume rises to crescendo, each tube is turned on in succession to create a domino effect. You can adjust the response rate and select among the included scenes.
Like you would see in an old-time player piano (but a little more psychedelic), this animation produces a 'soundscape' of the music. As the image scrolls off to the left, each sound is painted along the right edge, at a height corresponding to its pitch. You can literally 'see' the melody as it's developing. Works best with an acoustic instrument.
Fly through a 3D star field that's illuminated by the music. From red dwarfs to blue giants, these stars do more than just twinkle. Some light up to bass while others respond to higher pitched sounds. You control the velocity and the star field density.
This is an accurate, real-time, 10-band spectrum analyzer like you might find on a high end audio component. It's fun to watch while listening to your favorite music; or you can use it with a microphone to check out your room acoustics. It's the most responsive spectrum analyzer available for the PC.
This collection of tapestries will shimmer and flash to the music in mesmerizing fashion. We're not responsible for what happens if you stare at these too long!
Travel through geometrically changing tunnels that undulate to the music. The walls of these tunnels are lit up with an ever-changing pattern of colored lights that seem to move in and out to the decibel level.
Like on your home stereo, this simply shows you the volume of the music. Use it to calibrate your PC's audio system or just watch it rock. You can control the slew rate and choose between either stereo or mono mode.

This animation generates 3D texture-mapped fog, then illuminates it with your choice of colored lights (purple included). While the colors ebb and flow to the volume of the music, you appear to be slowly sinking deeper and deeper into the fog.
