  1. GSview install procedure

  3. GSview 2.2 and Ghostscript 5.01 installation procedure for Win32.

  5. 1.  Put all four zip files in c:\GS.  
  6. a.  gs501fn1.zip
  7. b.  gs501ini.zip
  8. c.  gs501w32.zip
  9. d.  gs22w32.zip
  10. Extract all four zip ziles to c:\GS. You should install all the files
  11. except the fonts in C:\GS, and the fonts in C:\GS\FONTS.
  12. Note: when extracting gs501fn1.zip to c:\GS , the fonts directory will be
  13. created for you.

  15. 2.  Run setup.exe.   That will install and configure Gsview and
  16. Ghostscript.  The GSview previewer contains an installation program to
  17. install and configure GSview and Ghostscript for Win32.

  22. Ghostscript is a PostScript interpreter.  
  23. GSview is a graphical interface for Ghostscript which allows PostScript
  24. files to be viewed or printed. It must be used with Aladdin Ghostscript.
