  4. Use this window to select the number of AudioDrive ES688 Adapters that you have 
  5. installed in your system. The maximum number of AudioDrive ES688 Adapters 
  6. supported by MMPM/2 is one. 
  7.  
  8. If you select zero, then you will de-install all AudioDrive ES688 Adapters that 
  9. have been previously installed by MMPM/2.

  12. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Help for selecting AudioDrive ES688 values ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  14. On this screen, you specify the values that you want to use with your 
  15. AudioDrive ES688. The values are described below. 
  16.  
  17. If you choose Close from the system menu, the selected values are set back to 
  18. the default values. 
  19.  
  20. Select Ok to save the selected values and continue. 
  21.  
  22. I/O Address 
  23.  
  24. This field allows you to select the I/O address for the AudioDrive ES688 you 
  25. have installed in your system. Use the drop down box to set the correct I/O 
  26. address. 
  27.  
  28. The valid I/O addresses are: 
  29.  
  30. 220, 230, 240 and 250 
  31.  
  32. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  33. install), it might be necessary to change the I/O address. To change the I/O 
  34. address setting: 
  35.  
  36.       Perform a selective installation and select the new I/O address, 
  37.  
  38.       or 
  39.  
  40.       Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new I/O address (It is the value 
  41.       immediately after the /B on ES688DD.SYS line of the CONFIG.SYS), and 
  42.       reboot.

  44.  DMA Channel 
  45.  
  46.  This field allows you to select the DMA channel for the AudioDrive ES688 you 
  47.  have installed in your system. Use the drop down box to set the correct DMA 
  48.  channel.

  50.  The valid DMA Channels are: 
  51.  
  52.  0, 1 and 3 
  53.  
  54.  If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  55.  install), it might be necessary to change the DMA channel. To change the DMA 
  56.  channel setting:

  58.       Perform a selective installation and select the new DMA channel, 
  59.  
  60.       or 
  61.  
  62.       Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new DMA channel (It is the value 
  63.       immediately after the /D on ES688DD.SYS line of the CONFIG.SYS), and 
  64.       reboot.

  66.  Interrupt Level

  68.  This field allows you to select the interrupt level for the AudioDrive ES688 
  69.  you have installed in your system. Use the drop down box to set the correct 
  70.  interrupt level.

  72.  The valid interrupt levels are:

  74.  2, 5, 7 and 10 
  75.  
  76.  If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  77.  install), it might be necessary to change the interrupt level. To change the 
  78.  interrupt level setting:

  80.       Perform a selective installation and select the new interrupt level, 
  81.  
  82.       or 
  83.  
  84.       Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new interrupt level (It is the value 
  85.       immediately after the /I on ES688DD.SYS line of the CONFIG.SYS), and 
  86.       reboot.
