  6. Aboriginal Art Screen Saver
  7. ===========================

  9. Aboriginal Art Screen Saver has a multitude of screen saver 
  10. programs - all full screen/full color using the Aboriginal 
  11. Art image library and with 3D graphical effects. The images
  12. are all by Jimmy Pike (Desert Designs) from Western Australia. 
  13. The programs can be set to varying speeds/effects with simple 
  14. slider controls. A detailed analog clock is also available for 
  15. all programs and can be optionally set on/off. Each image has 
  16. accompanying text - flashed up at the start of each screen 
  17. saver routine - which can be optionally set on/off.

  20. To Install

  23. If not installed already -

  25.  1. "run a:\setup.exe" if on disk or else simply "run *.exe"
  26.     if a single file (from download) 
  27.  2. ...just follow the on-line directions

  31. To Run Aboriginal Art screen saver

  34. Once installed you can select the Aboriginal Art screen 
  35. saver for your system. 
  36.  
  37.     1. Select "Settings" from the main "Start" selection 
  38.        (bottom left of the screen), then select "Control 
  39.        Panel" and then select "Display" (double click) 
  40.        from "Control Panel" group.

  42.     2. Select "Screen Saver" page

  44.     3. Select the "Aboriginal Art" screen saver in the 
  45.        listbox (left side)
  46.  
  47.     4. Click the "Settings" button to configure to your 
  48.        own taste. Please allow a small delay the first time 
  49.        the screen saver runs/tests as the screen saver needs 
  50.        to sort out the image files.

  52.         - Clock on/off (button control)
  53.         - Text on/off (button control)
  54.         - Speed of movement (slider control)
  55.         - Size (slider control)

  59.         - choose which screen saver effect you want

  62.     5. Click the "Preview" button to view the screen saver 
  63.        with your settings.

  66. The screen saver will now run after however many minutes of 
  67. keyboard/mouse inactivity have been set in the "Wait" panel 
  68. (screen saver section).

  74. Want to see the other 42 images ? All you need to make this 
  75. software fully operational again is a simple "registration" 
  76. number to act as a key to your unique license number - no need 
  77. to download more MB of software or pay for postage/handling.

  87. The Aboriginal Art Screen Saver  program allows you a free 
  88. trial period - enabling you to make a full evaluation of the 
  89. software - with the only proviso being that you can only see 
  90. 10 of the 52 images you have downloaded (the other 42 images 
  91. are already there waiting for you - you just need the 
  92. "registration" number to see them). After this trial period 
  93. the screen saver will no longer run in full operation mode - 
  94. showing only one image at a time before returning to the 
  95. original screen - rather than cycling through the image 
  96. collection.

  99. What is the License Number ? (and why you need it)

  102. Your "license" number is unique and can be easily found at 
  103. the top-left of the Aboriginal Art screen saver "Settings" 
  104. box or the "Register Details" box or the "About" box  - and 
  105. starts with "X..." eg  "X****-****/**-**/***"). Your "license" 
  106. number requires a similarly unique "registration" number which 
  107. will be sent to you. When you receive the "registration" number 
  108. simply press the button marked "Register" - and follow the 
  109. instructions. Once registered the Software will run indefinitely 
  110. - in full operation mode - and allow you to see all the 52 
  111. images that you have already downloaded.

  114. How exactly to find and read the "license" number

  117. To read the "license" number:-

  119.     1. Select "Settings" from the main "Start" selection 
  120.        (bottom left of the screen), then select "Control 
  121.        Panel" and then select "Display" (double click) 
  122.        from "Control Panel" group.

  124.     2. Select "Screen Saver" tab/page.

  126.     3. Select the "Aboriginal Art" screen saver in the 
  127.        listbox (left side) - if  you haven't already done 
  128.        this.

  130.     4. Click the "Settings" button and read the license
  131.        at the top left of the "Settings" box

  134. How exactly to enter your "registration" number
  135. ===============================================

  137. To enter your "registration" number (received on payment) 
  138. follow the same steps 1 to 3 above and then
  139.  
  140.     4. Click the "Settings" button .
  141.     5. Click the "Register" button (How to register...)
  142.         on the left of the "Settings" box.
  143.     6. Click the "Register" button on the right of the 
  144.         "Register Details" box.
  145.     7. Enter your "registration" number, name and
  146.         company (optional).
  147.     8. Click OK

  149. Your software will then be registered and will run in full
  150. operational mode indefinitely - allowing you to see all the
  151. images.

  166. With a Windows 95 Front Shell (this includes NT4.0) use the 
  167. Add/Remove Programs facility
  168.  
  169.     1. Select "Settings" from the main "Start" selection 
  170.        (bottom left of the screen), then select "Control 
  171.        Panel" and then select "Add/Remove Programs" 
  172.        (double click) from "Control Panel" group.

  174.     2. On the first tab/page - "Install/Uninstall" select
  175.        "Aboriginal Art" from the list and click the
  176.        "Add/Remove" button.
