  15. information on licensing, FTP Voyager features, and information on
  16. contacting Rhino Software.

  18. Introducing FTP Voyager
  19. ----------------------
  20. FTP Voyager is a program that makes using FTP much simpler.  The
  21. explorer-like graphical interface is intuitive to Windows users, and
  22. makes transferring files via FTP a snap.  FTP Voyager runs on Windows 95
  23. and Windows NT 4.X.

  25. License Terms
  26. -------------
  27. FTP Voyager is shareware.  This means that it is OK to download and
  28. evaluate the program for free, but continued use requires a license.
  29. Your registration and payment means we can continue development and
  30. free distribution of the program.

  32. Registration entitles you to e-mail support and upgrades for a year.
  33. Single user copies are $24.95.

  38. Commercial use of the program (use within a business) absolutely
  39. requires registration.

  41. Program Features
  42. ------------
  43. FTP Voyager is modeled after the Windows Explorer graphical interface,
  44. making it easy to learn and easy to use.  The following features are
  45. designed to make everyday use of FTP fast and efficient.
  46.  
  47.  - Session management makes it easy to connect to the FTP server of your
  48.    choice and to keep a directory of frequented sites.
  49.  
  50.  - Getting files from, or putting files to a server is as simple as
  51.    selecting a file and dragging it to the desired directory or
  52.    clicking on the command you desire.  There's no need to remember
  53.    the command set of the FTP program.
  54.  
  55.  - Navigating the remote system is made much simpler with a graphical
  56.    display of the server's file tree.
  57.  
  58.  - Multiple files may be selected for transfer, including directories.
  59.  
  60.  - Drag and Drop is in available now!  Drag and Drop allows you to simply
  61.    drag a file or directory to the Windows desktop or to the Windows
  62.    explorer.  Or you can drag from the Windows Explorer and drop on you
  63.    FTP site!

  65.  - Remember that registration of the program entitles you to one year
  66.    support and upgrades.

  68. INSTALLATION
  69. ------------
  70. Run the self-extracting file FtpVoyager.exe to unzip and install
  71. FTP Voyager.  The installation wizard will guide you through the install
  72. process.

  74. Please check our web site occasionally for updates.  Several enhanced
  75. features are planned for future releases.

  77. ERRATA
  78. ------
  79.  - Drag and Drop into applications does not work.  It eventually times
  80.    out giving an error message.  This may be corrected in a future
  81.    release.

  83.  - Opening or viewing files will leave a copy of the file in the "TEMP"
  84.    directory (usually C:\TEMP or C:\WINDOWS\TEMP).
