This is very easy to do
*Mouse Action* : Click on the telephone handset icon on the toolbar
*Menu Action* : File, Connect
*Keyboard Action* : Press Ctrl+T
Doing the above fires up your connection to the internet, sends all your waiting mail messages, and then collects all your waiting mail messages.
That's all you have to do, to send and receive your messages. After the connection is over @ccess will integrate the new messages into your message database threading them to earlier messages if appropriate.
If you want to check to see what actions you are going to do before connecting use File, Review Outbasket (keypress of F2 or the Review Outbasket button on the toolbar 2nd icon). From here you can review and edit (or delete) your outgoing items.
Press the ENTER key to go on the next message.

Sending a File By E-Mail
Sending a file to someone else by E-mail is as easy as sending them a mail message.
Begin a E-mail message to the person as described in the previous messages, but don't type in a subject, instead press the Attach File button. This will bring up a file selector dialog, use it to select the file you want to send.
You should select MIME in preference to UUENCODE on the file selector dialog unless you know that the recipient prefers UUENCODED messages.
After selecting file and the send type @ccess Mail will then automatically give the message a subject.
Finally type in the text of the mail message to accompany the file you are sending.
When you are happy with what you have typed select the OK button. Next time you connect to the Internet service @ccess Mail will send your mail message and the attached file for you.

Receiving Files By E-Mail
This is so simple to do it's absurd. When you collect your E-mails, @ccess Mail will collect the files sent to you by E-mail automatically. You don't have to do anything else.
@ccess Mail will automatically decode the file, assuming that the file has been UUENCODED or MIME encoded and put the decoded file in the download directory (which is the download directory under the main program directory) and place a message in your mail topic telling you about the file.
If you double click on the reference in the message window (or pressing Ctrl+O) then @ccess Mail will attempt to run the file, loading it into the application that is suitable for it according to your windows preferences.

Message Thread Window
This window displays the individual messages in a message folder according to the number @ccess Mail has assigned to a message, the author of the message and the subject of the message. The numbers section shows the relationship of messages to each other. The little lines linking one message to another are called "Threads" and show that some messages are replies to other messages.
New and unread messages will have an icon on their far left that looks like an unopened envelope. This is called the "Flags" section of the window. Press "Enter" or the spacebar to mark a message as read and move on to the next unread message. Press D to mark a message for deletion. A trash can icon will appear where the envelope was. Press D again to unmark the message for deletion. A "folder" icon indicates that a message now has a reply or replies "threaded" to it.
You can move from message to message in the "Message Thread" window without marking the messages as read by using the up and down arrow key.
As you move from message to message, the message text is automatically displayed below in the "Message Text" window.
Press the ENTER key to go on the next message.
