  1.  
  2. Cachet is a floating toolbar accessory designed
  3. to recover documents stored in Netscape's disk
  4. cache. The text and date search allows quick
  5. retrieval of documents seen days or weeks ago.
  6. Recovered documents include all of the saved
  7. images associated with the original. Groups of
  8. documents can be copied to disk for later
  9. viewing offline or transfer to an associate.

  11. Further documentation will be installed in the
  12. form of HTML documents readable using Netscape.

  14. To view the help, press F1 or click the right
  15. mouse button on any Cachet screen or the toolbar
  16. and select Help.

  19. To install Cachet, run SETUP.EXE either from
  20. the DOS command line, or using the Windows 95
  21. START menu item RUN Program. The Install
  22. Wizard will guide you through the process.
  23. This version of Cachet is for Windows 95 and
  24. Windows NT only.

  26. To uninstall Cachet, use the Add/Remove Programs
  27. application in the Windows 95 Control Panel.

  29. If you used a previous version of Cachet and
  30. are upgrading to Netscape 4.01 or later, you
  31. have to tell Cachet where the new cache directory
  32. is located. Press F10 to access the Properties
  33. sheet. Select the Directories page. Browse
  34. to your personal Communicator cache, which
  35. defaults to:

  37. c:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\yourname\cache
  38.  
  39. unless you have chosen to install Netscape in
  40. a different directory. "yourname" was the
  41. user name you chose when you installed Netscape.
