  6.         Ever wonder how much mileage your mouse accumulates?
  7.         The Mouse Odometer keeps track of how far the cursor moves
  8.     and allows you to relate that to how far you actually move the
  9.     mouse on your desk.
  10.         The first thing to do is to choose Preferences from the
  11.     Odometer menu. In the dialog box which appears, enter the distance
  12.     that your mouse travels in order to move the cursor vertically
  13.     and horizontally across the screen. The default value is
  14.     three inches which is appropriate for most mice.
  15.         The best way to determine the values is to move the cursor to 
  16.     the left side of the screen then mark the position where your mouse 
  17.     is on your mouse pad. Then move the mouse horizontally until the 
  18.     mouse is at the right side of the screen and then see how far the 
  19.     mouse travelled. Enter the distance, in inches, into the dialog box
  20.     and then do the same for the vertical distance.
  21.         When you start the Mouse Odometer, the default unit of measurement
  22.     is in terms of pixels. You can also specify inches, feet, miles,
  23.     centimeters, meters or kilometers.

  25.     Version 2.0 adds the ability to view statistics about how many
  26.     mouse clicks and keystrokes you have made. The Statistics dialog
  27.     box can be accessed either from the Mouse Odometer menu or by 
  28.     clicking on the Statistics button in the Preferences dialog.
  29.         The statistics window shows both the total and the daily 
  30.     average for each category of mouse click and keystroke. Note that the
  31.     'Days Since Last Reset' starts counting from the time that you press
  32.     the Reset button. For example, if you reset today at 2:00pm,
  33.     it will read 'zero' days until 2:01pm tomorrow.

  35.         In general, it's a good idea to put the Mouse Odometer in your 
  36.     Start Up group so that it starts up every time you run Windows.
