- Overview:
- This window is used to enter a check for the current bank account.
- Use this window when you have manually written a check and need
- to record it in the check register.

- This window varies from the "Enter a Bill - Already Paid" option
- in that you do not have to setup a company just to enter the
- check. However, you are sacrificing the company statistics
- kept using the other method.

- Fields:
- Check # - Enter the number of the check you wrote.
-
- Check date - Enter the date you wrote the check for.
-
- Amount - Enter the amount of the check.
-
- Name - Enter the name you wrote the check to. To enter a
- void check, enter "Void" as the name, the amount will
- then automatically be changed to zero.

- Catagory - You may optionally assign a catagory to this check.
- If assigned, the catagory statistics will be updated to reflect
- the payment.

- Description - Description of the check. This field is optional.

- Save for taxes - Check if the bill is tax deductible.
- If checked, the check will be highlighted on the "Check History
- Report".

- Buttons:
- OK - Enter the check, return to the "Check Register" window.

- Cancel - Do not enter the check, return to the "Check Register"
- window.

- File:
- Exit - This option is disabled. You must return to the
- previous window using the "OK" button.

- Windows:
- Bank Accounts - This option is disabled, you must return to
- the previous window using "OK".

- Catagories - This option is disabled, you must return to
- the previous window using "OK".

- Check Register - This option is disabled, you must return to
- the previous window using "OK".

- Company Information - This option is disabled, you must return
- to the previous window using "OK".

- Enter Bills - This option is disabled, you must return to
- the previous window using "OK".

- Pay Bills - This option is disabled, you must return to
- the previous window using "OK".

- Help:

- Error Messages - Shows all fatal error messages and their
- corrective actions.
