  9. Thank you for trying The Spelling Voice.  You will
  10. find that this program can make a REAL improvement
  11. in the spelling skills of any student.

  13. This program is distributed as shareware.  It is not
  14. free software.  Please evaluate it for up to 30 days.
  15. If you find that you benefit from it and will continue
  16. using it, please register with the author.  To find
  17. information on how to do this, look in the on-line
  18. help.

  22. If you have an aversion to Install programs, or
  23. for some reason the installation does not work,
  24. you can manually install The Spelling Voice by
  25. doing the following:
  26.  
  27. Note: ONLY DO THIS IF YOU ARE MANUALLY
  28. INSTALLING.  IF YOU WANT THE INSTALLER
  29. TO DO THE WORK, THEN PRESS THE CONTINUE 
  30. BUTTON AND SIT BACK. 
  31.  
  32. 1. Press the Continue button to close this readme file.
  33. 2. At this point the installation process will begin.
  34. 3. Press the Cancel button to stop it and go to DOS 
  35.    (or use the File Manager to perform the equivalent steps
  36.    described below).
  37. 4. Make an SPVOICE directory (call it what you want).
  38. 5. Make a WAVE directory in the SPVOICE directory.
  39. 6. COPY SPVOICE.EXE and SPVOICE.HLP to the SPVOICE 
  40.    directory.
  41. 7. Copy all of the other files into the WAVE directory.
  42. 8. Back in Windows, install the icon in whatever Program
  43.    Group you wish.

  45. If any of these instuctions don't make sense, then use the
  46. Install program to do it for you.
