  14. this software. Use of this software indicates your acceptance of these terms
  15. and conditions. If you do not agree with them, do not use the software.

  18. Non-registered Version
  19. ----------------------
  20. You are hereby licensed to: use the non-registered Version of the software
  21. for a 30-day evaluation period; make as many copies of the non-registered
  22. version of this software and documentation as you wish; give exact copies of
  23. the original installation diskette to anyone; and distribute the
  24. non-registered version of the software and documentation in its unmodified
  25. form via electronic means. There is no charge for any of the above.

  27. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting donations, for
  28. any such copies, however made and from distributing the software and/or
  29. documentation with other products (commercial or otherwise) without prior
  30. written permission, with one exception: Disk Vendors are permitted to

  32. in the limited licence detailed in VENDOR.TXT without specific written
  33. permission.

  40. The registered version of Progress! may not be distributed/uploaded 
  41. in any form and for any reason by individuals or Disk Vendors.

  45. Evaluation and Registration

  48. This is not free software. This license allows you to use this software for
  49. evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 30 days. If you use this
  50. software after the 30-day evaluation period a registration fee is required
  51. (please see ORDER.TXT).  Payments should be in UK £ sterling (cheque or
  52. international money order) and should be sent to the address mentioned 
  53. in ORDER.TXT.

  55. When payment is received you will be sent a registered copy of the latest
  56. version of Progress and you will also benefit from support and free 
  57. upgrades for one year.

  60. Disclaimer of Warranty

  63. The purpose of the evaluation period is so that you can find out if Progress
  64. meets your needs and at no cost to yourself during the evaluation.

  66. This software and the accompanying files are sold "as is" and without
  67. warranties as to performance of merchantability or any other warranties
  68. whether expressed or implied.  No warranty of fitness for a particular 
  69. purpose is offered.

  71. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program. Any liability of
  72. the seller will be limited exclusively to product replacement or refund of
