  3. Problems running the CD-ROM?
  4.  
  5. Suggested reason: 256 colours is not enough to run the high quality graphics and animations 
  6. contained in this CD-ROM. Make sure your PC display is set to 640 x 480 and the colour palette
  7. is set to "High Color" (16-bit or 16bpp, NOT 16-colour!!!).

  9. To do this in Windows Æ95: 
  10.  
  11. 1)  Double Click on the "My Computer" icon
  12. 2)  Double Click on "Control Panel"
  13. 3)  Double Click on "Display"
  14. 4)  When in "Display Properties" click on the "Settings" tab
  15. 5)  Set the Display Area to 640 x 480
  16. 6)  Set the Color Palette to "High Color - 16 bit"
  17. 7)  Click on "Apply" or "Ok"
  18. 8)  When asked "Do you want to restart your computer now?" click on "Yes"
  19. 9)  Run the application again

  21. In Windows 3.1:

  23. 1)  Double Click on the "Main" panel
  24. 2)  Double Click on "Windows Setup"
  25. 3)  Click on "Options"
  26. 4)  Click on "Change System Settings"
  27. 5)  Click on the down arrow to the right of the display setting
  28. 6)  Select 640x480x16bpp or 800x600x16bpp
  29. 7)  If necessary insert any necessary Windows Setup disks
  30. 8)  Click on "Restart Windows"
  31. 9)  Run the application again

  33. If a "16bpp" setting is not available you should download a suitable display driver from your
  34. Windows installation disk(s).

  37. Still having trouble?

  39. Reset your machine. This will restore your computer to its "start up" state. Then run "D:\setup.exe" 
  40. once more, where D: is the location of your CD-ROM drive.
