  9. Welcome to the Major League Baseball: The Year the Records Fell Read Me.
  10. This file contains additional information not found on the printed Jewel
  11. Case documentation. This CD contains an installer for a release of
  12. CyberViewer 2.0 and 54 major League Baseball CyberAction Cards. All 54
  13. Cards are part of Limited Edition Internet  releases and have serial
  14. numbers reserved for every CD-ROM owner. To find out your serial numbers
  15. you will need to register (for FREE - no credit cards required) and
  16. enter your CD# (see below).

  18. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  20. >    Pentium 90MHZ Processor (or higher) 
  21. >    16MB of free RAM
  22. >    Windows 95/98
  23. >    35 MB of free disk space (not including Earthlink Sprint
  24.     software)
  25. >    Quicktime 3.0 (QT 3.0 included)
  26. >    CD-ROM drive
  27. >    640x480 monitor running 256 Colors or more (the more the
  28.     better)
  29. >    Modem to access the Internet (*) to personalize your
  30.     CyberViewer and get additional Cards

  32. (*) 1 Free Month of Internet Access is offered through EarthLink Sprint¬
  33. and can be installed through the Installer.

  35. QUICKTIME
  36.  
  37. The enclosed installer contains an exciting introduction comprised of
  38. QuickTime video clips from actual games. If you do not have QuickTime
  39. you will be prompted to install QuickTime. The CyberAction Cards also
  40. require QuickTime to run the included video clips. If you do not want to
  41. install QuickTime you will not be able to access this feature. A
  42. QuickTime Version 3 installer is included on this CD-ROM.

  44. MORE FREE CARDS
  45.  
  46. Packaged with this CD is a CD# which can be used by you on the
  47. CyberAction web site (http://www.cyberaction.com) after your
  48. registration (registration is FREE, no credit card required) to get your
  49. Super Bonus Card.  You can register when you are Personalizing your
  50. CyberViewer and enter your CD# at the same time.

  52. If you are already registered, connect to the CyberAction site through
  53. your CyberViewer (click the What's New button) or through your Internet
  54. Browser and go to the CD-ROM section to enter your CD#.

  56. INSTALLATION
  57.  
  58. To install the CyberViewer and CyberAction Cards, Quicktime, and/or the
  59. Earthlink Sprint TotalAccess¬ software please doubleclick the
  60. Install.exe file. The installer will provide additional details and any
  61. additional instructions you need.

  63. There are two options for installation depending upon whether or not you
  64. have Version 2 of the CyberAction CyberViewer. 
  65.     
  66. > If you DO NOT have a CyberViewer Version 2:

  68. After you select this installation option and the installer has run just
  69. double-click the CyberViewer Version 2 file to launch the viewer and
  70. access the included Cards. As part of the installation you will have
  71. access to a Help screen and a sample instructional Card that explains
  72. how the CyberAction Cards work.

  74. If you have access to the Internet, please click the Personalize button
  75. on the main menu. You will be connected to the CyberAction site where
  76. you can register to get your Username and Password for FREE. The
  77. CyberViewer will become personalized for your use and you will get
  78. access to additional free Special Edition Cards and special Bonus Cards
  79. just for owners of this CD-ROM.  You will also notice that when you play
  80. your Internet cards again, on the back of the cards you can see your
  81. reserved serial numbers.  Flip all Cards in a set and line them up for a
  82. surprise!

  84. If move the CyberAction Folder around after installation this 
  85. may cause problems with the Shortcuts that the installer sets up for
  86. you. This can cause problems with the launching of the application and
  87. also with how the application launches its Internet connection. See the
  88. help section on www.cyberaction.com for more information.

  92. After you select this installation option and the installer has run just
  93. double-click your CyberViewer Version 2 file to launch the viewer.  If
  94. you already have a CyberViewer Version 2 we assume you already have
  95. access to the Internet and have your Username and Password.  Connect to
  96. the CyberAction web site (http://www.cyberaction.com) through your
  97. CyberViewer (click the What's New button) or through your Internet
  98. browser and go to the CD-ROM section to enter your CD#. After you enter
  99. your CD# you can enter the Download Zone through your CyberViewer to
  100. download your new Card information and the additional free Cards.

  105. any additional Cards you may want to get from the CyberAction Internet
  106. Site. Stop by regularly to see new releases of Major League Baseball
