  4. Web Scraper is foremost a utility for scouring web sites and
  5. performing automated batch file downloads of JPG and GIF image
  6. files. The batch download also works with AVI, MOV, WAV, ZIP, PDF,
  7. MPG, JPEG, GZ, ARJ, EXE and TXT files.

  9. Web Scraper enables users to surf the web and automatically
  10. convert site HTML code page information into separate windows
  11. containing other URL Links and a complete listing of all files
  12. available for downloading from the respective link. Why wait
  13. for fancy buttons, images, background screens, ads, banners,
  14. and other stuff to download when you can cut directly to the
  15. chase. Access what you were looking for: JPGs and GIFs that
  16. you can batch download by the dozen instead of one at a time.

  19. files from absolute or relative URLs.

  60. Web Scraper Controls
  61. --------------------
  62.  URL:        enter site URL to access. The "http://" prefix is
  63.              not required to be entered.

  65.  CONNECT:    initiates connection to URL specified
  66.  
  67.  SELECT ALL: selects all files in "Image File" list box for
  68.              download. Individual and multiple files can also
  69.              be selected using Shift-Click and Ctrl-Click
  70.              methods

  72.  COPY FILES: initiates transfer of all files selected for
  73.              downloading.

  75.  URL LINKS:  double-click on link to auto-connect to new
  76.              URL site, or select link and press "Connect"

  78.  RESET:      resets/cancels connection in progress and
  79.              clears URL Link and Image File list boxes

  81.  SET DOWNLOAD PATH : visual directory list box to navigate
  82.              and set local download path

  88. HISTORY LIST
  89. ------------
  90. A detailed history list is maintained throughout the session.
  91. On exit, the user is prompted whether or not to save the
  92. history list. The history list is saved in a file called
  93. "URLS.TXT" which is also automatically reloaded on program
  94. start up. This file can be edited locally using a text editor.

  97. REGISTERING THE ACTIVATION CODE
  98. -------------------------------
  99. The demo version has a SET ACTIVATION CODE menu option located
  100. under HELP. This brings up a dialog box containing two numbers
  101. and an edit box. The "Code Entry" and "Computer Number" values
  102. are used by Excelsoft Design Limited to provide remote activation
  103. of Web Scraper by supplying you with a unique "Activation Code".

  105. You will need to have both numbers handy when you place your
  106. order. You will be given your "Activation Code" which is entered
  107. in the edit box. Once your copy of Web Scraper has been activated
  108. this menu option will no longer appear and Web Scraper will have
  109. full functionality.

  117.   Telephone orders, for Visa Credit Card holders, are accepted.

  119.   Mail orders, accompanied by certified cheque or money order,
  120.   are also accepted.

  122.   Once credit card orders are processed, or on receipt of
  123.   certified cheque or money order, you will receive your
  124.   "Activation Code".

  126.   Canadian residents are subject to applicable federal and
  127.   provincial taxes.
