  1. This is how to mail fake mail withought being traced:

  3. Telnet into a shell account- either hacked or anonymous- unless the 
  4. SMTP you are going to telnet to in the end has no identd.
  5. Then telnet into another (optional extra security)
  6. and another - more security - the last two steps optional.

  8.  
  9. Decide where you want to send the mail from - assume irc.epix.net
  10.  
  11. Follow these lines exactly: (Typed in at shell prompt)
  12.  
  13. telnet epix.net 25   (Some shells use: telnet epix.net:25)
  14. helo <fake domain>
  15. mail from: fake@email.address
  16. rcpt to: lamer@Iwanna.kill.you
  17. data
  18. subject: this is the subject
  19. this is the rest of the e.mail.  
  20. .    ( . on a single line means send)
  21.  
  22. there you have it- fake e.mail that is almost impossible to trace.
