  1. *Notice* Redboxing is an illegal activity and Ma Bell, along with local law
  2. authorities, may not find redboxing as fun and amusing as you may do, and I 
  3. cannot be held accountable for your stupidity if you get caught.  'Nuff said.

  5. OK, from the tape you made with the tones (probably be best to record it about 
  6. 15 times) go up to a payphone and either dial 0, or a CIC (10xxx-npa-nxx-xxxx)  
  7. If you dial 0, you sometimes need to make up some bullshit story as to why the 
  8. operator has to place the call.  My favorite thing to do is say that one of 
  9. the buttons if fucked up <G>.  So when ever the operator tells you to put in 
  10. money, YOU MUST put in some sort of real change to kick over ACTS. Once you do 
  11. that, then you can start to play the tones.  Contrary to what people say, you 
  12. can not redbox on a COCOT.

  14. Example: 10288-1-423-323-4545, op says $2.60, put in a real dime, and play 
  15.          10 redbox quarter tones.
