  27.      Ben Reser's little "dial-up networking connection enhancement" ain't 
  28.      so little any more. The filesize and memory overhead
  29.      are still miniscule, but 1996 brought functionality bursting from 
  30.      the seams. Over the past year, I watched Dunce integrate
  31.      program launching ability, a keep-alive ping function, and the 
  32.      ability to customize its performance based on the dial up profile
  33.      you're using. All this and more finally moves Dunce to the top of 
  34.      the heap among my dial-up networking utilities picks.
