  8. In 1992 the German Application Development Laboratory (GADL) celebrated its
  9. 25th Anniversary.
  10. The laboratory started work in 1967 as the Program Product Centre (PPC)
  11. in Stuttgart.  The move to Sindelfingen in the seventies brought with it
  12. the change of name to Program Product Development Centre (PPDC).
  13. Nearly twenty years later came the next change of name and the next move to a
  14. new building in the industrial estate called Hulb in nearby Boeblingen.

  16. The new name was German Application Development Laboratory (GADL).
  17. The latest change in name came only recently and we are now called the
  18. German Software Development Laboratory (GSDL).
