SpaceMap is a 32-bit utility program that summarizes disk space usage by directory (including space used by descendent directories).  SpaceMap is used to clean up overcrowded disks.  You can see which directories and files are using the most space, and wasted space can then be recovered by using SpaceMap to remove items that are no longer needed.
