This product creates the complete OS/2 2.1 operating system on 3.5" diskettes from diskette image files stored on this CD-ROM. You will need 19 3.5" diskettes to complete this task.
This release of OS/2 2.1 contains OS/2 2.1 Symmetric Multiprocessor (SMP), which is a new feature of OS/2 2.1. This feature enables OS/2 2.1 or later to support multiple CPUs in a single computer.
A Multi-Processor CPU Performance Monitor is shipped with the product. This tool displays CPU utilization for each processor in bar graph and histogram modes. The Performance Monitor tool resides in the Productivity folder.
