  6. IMS Client Server/2 provides facilities to enhance the use of programmable workstations in an IMS Data Communications or IMS/ESA Transaction Manager environment.

  8. These facilities allow users to handle enterprise data at their workstation without regard to  integrity, which is preserved automatically.  This is accomplished, without change, to existing host applications.

  10. Client application programs on OS/2 call IMS Client Server/2 to run server programs - existing IMS transactions - transparent to the users and the host.

  15.   o  4MB hard disk space, plus 2KB per IMS device format

  18.   o  Workstation GUI workbench, such as VisualAge, recommended for developing client applications
