  4. CTFORMAT is a 32-bit filter that dynamically performs three kinds of formatting:

  7.   o  Assembler source files using the macros defined by SALUT, SAT, or STRUCS
  8.   o  Text files that use Alt-255 for WYSIWYG text formatting

  10. CTFORMAT uses special remarks and hidden characters to allow the output to replace the source file, eliminating the need for multiple copies.
