- README file for the OS/2 Bi-Directional 16 bit programming
- -----------------------------------------------------------
-
- o A 16 bit programming interface is provided to the
- OS/2 Bi-Directional support. These headers are
- provided mainly to allow addition of Bi-Directional
- support to existing 16 bit applications which
- will not be moved to 32 bit in the near future.
- They can be used in conjunction with the OS/2 1.3
- Programming Tools and Information to produce
- executables that will run on OS/2 2.1.
-
- However, it is emphasized that these headers are
- provided only to support existing 16 bit applications
- and programmers are strongly advised to
- use the 32 bit development environment, which
- will allow their applications to take advantage
- of OS/2's capabilities and is the recommended
- path for support on future environments.
-
- o The following headers provide interfaces to the
- Bi-Directional support APIs which can be called by
- 16 bit applications :
- - pmbidi16.h
- - bdcall16.h
