  8. find 12000+ news articles with tips and information about Doom 1
  9. and Doom 2.  You get 1200+ ready to run WADs for Doom 1, and 200+
  10. ready to run WADs for Doom 2.  Included on this disc are tools for map
  11. editing, various Doom utility programs, add on graphics and sound, Doom
  12. hacks and patches, and documentation on Doom and its special data files.

  22. view.exe        Program to view the index files and select files to unzip.
  23. go.bat          Batch file that views the readme files.
  24. install1.bat    Installs this CDROM for your registered copy of Doom 1.
  25. install2.bat    Installs this CDROM for your registered copy of Doom 2.
  26. uninstal.bat    Uninstalls this CDROM from your hard drive.

  35. Although you may own this disk, you do not own the programs recorded
  36. on it.  Many of the programs on this disc are shareware.  You are
  37. free to try each program for a limited amount of time.  If you are
  38. satisfied, and wish to continue to use the program, you are required

  40. directly to the author of the program.  In many cases the author
  41. will send you the most up to date version of the program and a
  42. printed manual.  Please check the individual files for specific

  49. possibly validate the proper operation of the various programs.  When
  50. a program bug is reported, immediate action is taken to either correct
  51. the error or remove the offending program from the CDROM.  Still, users
  52. must understand that all programs are offered AS IS, and the archive
  53. maintainers specifically disclaim any liability should these programs
  54. malfunction or cause damage, incidental or otherwise.  When testing ANY
  55. new software, be certain that all information stored on disk is backed-up
  56. before you start, so that you can recover if files are damaged or erased.

  58. malfunctions can be spectacularly disastrous.
