  1.         Here it is at last!  The most REVOLTING DOOM add-on ever!

  6.         Written by Dave Pancoast, conceived of by Dave Lowensohn,
  7.         and made possible by DeHacked (beta version), the only DOOM
  8.         utility that will make you say, "Wow!  Now that's really
  9.         sick.  I'm glad I use Dial.  I wish those re-exploding
  10.         imps did" was born.  Special thanks also go out to
  11.         the programmer who brought us the "Super Weapons" patch
  12.         that is incorporated into this fine utility.

  14.       The basic premise of the story so far is this:
  15.         You bought DOOM legally because you love shareware so
  16.         much, only to find that the deaths, while somewhat
  17.         cool, just don't have that really sick aspect that
  18.         the game boasts.  "Crap," you say, "this game is 
  19.         just getting boring.  Why can't those dying men be
  20.         more lively?"  This is where the creative genius
  21.         of Two Daves Enterprises comes in.  We know how sick
  22.         you people are, and we try to cater to every need.
  23.         THIS PATCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!  DO NOT
  24.         OPERATE HEAVY MACHINERY AFTER INITIAL USE!  All this
  25.         little gem does is edit your DOOM.EXE (SO BACK IT UP
  26.         FOR AGATHA CHRISTIE'S SAKE) and make those boring
  27.         death sequences just a tad more interesting.  Note
  28.         that this program has only been tested on one machine
  29.         with system specifications listed below:

  31.           Intel 486DX2-66
  32.           Gravis Ultrasound card w/ latest drivers
  33.           Nothing else that is important
  34.  
  35.         Use this program at your own risk, I will not accept
  36.         blame for this program running amuck and eating your
  37.         little brother.

  45.         INSTALLATION NOTES:
  46.           Installation can be easy, or hard if you choose.
  47.             EASY:  
  48.               Unzip the files into a "PATCHES" subdir off of DOOM
  49.               Get DeHacked from your favorite FTP and type:
  50.               dehacked -load revolt.deh
  51.               *from within your DOOM directory*
  52.               That's it!  You should be ready to lock and load.
  53.             HARD:
  54.               Try to teach your mom how to do this.
